Annie Fardell Hartley
Dr. Annie Fardell Hartley is the Principal Psychologist (Systems) at a state-wide emergency service, where she leads a team of psychologists and supporters. She oversees organisational responses to critical incidents, liaises with government stakeholders, and contributes to the strategic design and delivery of wellbeing initiatives across emergency services. With more than 25 years’ experience across all levels of clinical service provision—predominantly focused on suicidality and trauma—she provides specialist advice in a range of governance and advisory capacities. These include roles as a Board Director, committee member, and advisor to state, national, and international organisations, including R U OK?.
Annie holds a Masters degree in Suicidology and is an Accredited Psychological Autopsy Investigator. Her PhD focused on social media to communicate suicidality by young people in rural and remote New South Wales.
