Kimberley Pace National Suicide Prevention Conference 2026

Kimberley Pace

Kimberley is a current PhD student at La Trobe University. She commenced her PhD in February 2025 after completing her Psychology BA and honours at the University of Western Australia. She came to psychology after becoming interested in the motivations and processes behind human behaviour after completing a Contemporary Art and Fashion BA(2011) and MA(2015) at ECU. Her PhD research is focused on understanding the unique social connections of bisexual, pansexual and other multigender attracted people and how social connections may be a risk or protective factor for the relationship between emotional regulation and suicide and self-harm thoughts and behaviours. As a bisexual researcher, she believes in prioritising lived experience to address the gaps in research that place Bi+ people as an at-risk population. This research is supported by a Suicide Prevention Australia Scholarship.
