Darren Wagner
Darren is the NSW Health peer workforce education lead with the Health Education and Training Institute (HETI).
He utilises his lived and living experience expertise related to suicide and mental health challenges to inform the collaborative creation, delivery and evaluation of statewide education and training materials and programs.
Over the past 10 years Darren has worked as a peer support worker in both the NGO and Government sectors. He is also a firm believer in the power of meaningful and accessible education. He has seen firsthand how knowledge can change lives, empower individuals and change systems.
