Rowan P Ogeil
Dr Rowan Ogeil is a Senior Research Fellow in the Eastern Health Clinical School at Monash University, and Strategic Lead of the National Addiction and Mental Health Surveillance Unit (NAMHSU) at Turning Point, Eastern Health. At NAMHSU, Rowan leads a team of 40 researchers, data analysts and Research Assistants and his team coordinates novel population datasets including the National Ambulance Surveillance System. His research has had multiple policy impacts and is cited in key policy documents at the Local, State and Commonwealth levels. Rowan has authored >100 publications across the fields of addiction, substance use, population surveillance, and sleep. Rowan has been the recipient of prestigious fellowships, including a Peter Doherty Fellowship from the NHMRC, and an Australia-Harvard Fellowship.
