Christopher Wainwright
Chris Wainwright is an early career researcher and Associate Lecturer with a concentration on youth mental health and empowerment. He is overseeing a research collaboration between Griffith University and batyr which has resulted in various publications, exploring the outcomes of youth mental health advocacy upon participant professional development and social wellbeing. He also contributes widely in the international research space on research and interventions at the intersection of youth agency and public health. He has worked in the field for over 15 years, as a coach, mentor, teacher, facilitator and advocate, and holds extended certification in working with young people with special educational needs and mental health challenges.
