Laura Grattidge

Laura is a project manager and Early Career Researcher at the Centre for Rural Health, University of Tasmania and Manna Institute, where she is also a lived experience representative of the Project Management Group. Laura has experience researching and evaluating mental health, wellbeing, and suicide prevention programs. Through her PhD Laura has been exploring the role of community-based suicide prevention in rural areas, and developing ‘Best Practice Guidelines for Youth Suicide Prevention in Rural Australian Communities’. When looking at transitioning programs from a national to a regional level, Laura believes the role of community is paramount, with lived experience at the centre of all efforts.
