Lisa Merrison

Originally from Liverpool, UK and with a background of hospital and community pharmacy Lisa has spent most of her 27 years in Australia working in Aboriginal health, developing and delivering wellbeing programs in Sydney, towards Closing the Gap and improving Aboriginal health outcomes and access to services. Lisa is a passionate advocate and ally to the First Nations communities she has worked with and recognises the utmost importance of genuine community engagement, involvement and codesign, along with delivering First nations programs which are community led, designed, owned and driven. Development of strong, respectful and enduring community relationships has been critical to the success of this work. Lisa’s current role is Manager of Suicide Prevention and Aboriginal Health and Wellbeing Programs at Central and Eastern Sydney PHN.
