Crystal Love Johnson Kerinuia
Crystal Love Johnson Kerinauia is a Tiwi-Warlpiri Sistagirl Elder, who is a leader, advocate and mentor to the LGBTIQ+SB community. Crystal, affectionately known as ‘Aunty’ is an advocate, artist and trans icon nationally. After her own experiences of support, substance misuse and suicide, Crystal is a keen educator on the Tiwi Islands, encouraging those around her with honesty and love. Crystal is a consultant to the Ngawurramangajirri (we care for each other) project and has been instrumental in ensuring processes and outcomes support the Tiwi Islands LGBTIQ+SB community.
