Pino Migliorino
Pino founded the Cultural Perspectives Group in 1994 providing practice leadership in consulting, researching and communicating with Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities in Australia.
Pino is an expert in immigration, multicultural affairs and social policy areas relevant to diversity. Through this expertise he has made his mark and is recognised nationally as a leader in this field.
Pino has been a strong advocate in suicide prevention and currently sits on the Advisory Board of the National Suicide Prevention Office.
Along with his professional achievements Pino is a long-standing leader in the NFP sector. In the Italian community Pino served on the Boards and committees of Co.As.It. for 22 years, including 5 as Vice President and 5 as President. In the broader multicultural community Pino Chaired FECCA from 2009-2013 and was Hon President from 2013-2017.
Pino has a BA and Dip. Ed (Secondary), is a Fellow of the Community and Public Relations Australia (FCPRA) and a Qualified Practicing Market Research (QPMR) and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAIDC)
Pino was made a Member of the Order of Australia (AM) in 2017 and a Knight Commander (Commendatore) of the Italian Republic in 2009 and Award for Distinguished Service to Australian Immigration 2011 by the Migration Institute of Australia
